Advanced Workshop on Capitalization Tables

Wednesday, June 5 - 8:30a - 12:15p
Included as Part of NW Regional Registration

Angels face many challenges when investing in startup ventures. One crucial, but sometimes overlooked, detail is the impact of new funding on the company’s capital structure. Whether funding comes as equity or debt, the savvy investor needs to understand how this round of funding will impact the ultimate outcome for all shareholders and be fluent in the structure of cap tables and their impact on potential returns from current and future rounds of funding.

ACA launched this innovative program last week at the 2019 ACA Summit and we are thrilled to bring it to Pacific Northwest investors included in your regional meeting registration.  Built for experienced investors and led by Bill Payne, angel investor and prolific angel educator, this session focuses on the details of cap tables through the lifecycle of a startup venture. This workshop includes a combination of presentations, exercises and a case study to illustrate common cap table mathematics a startup and its investors must consider.

Attendees are encouraged to bring your laptop to this session.
