Angela Jackson is co-founder and managing director of the Portland Seed Fund, a private/public seed fund with $10 Million+ under management. The Fund invests in high growth, capital-efficient companies primarily in the Northwest. She also oversees the award-winning Portland State University Business Accelerator, with 30+ resident biotech, technology and cleantech companies. Prior, Angela made angel investments in multiple sectors and advised entrepreneurs and seed-stage companies across a broad spectrum of industries. She is a past president of the Portland chapter of Keiretsu Forum, and served Chair of one of the nation's largest angel investment competitions, Angel Oregon. Angela credits her serial entrepreneur family history with much of her comfort in the trenches of seed investment. She holds a B.A. in English and history from Boston University and a M.A. in environmental studies from University of Oregon. She was recently named the 2015 Woman of Influence/entrepreneur category by Portland Business Journal. She serves on the boards of Crowd Supply and TIE Oregon, and the Angel Capital Association's public policy committee.
