Paul Burgon is the co-chair of the Keiretsu Northwest and Rockies cleantech committee, and he is also Managing Partner of Exit Ventures, a cleantech and sustainability VC fund that creates strategic exits for its portfolio companies.
Before Exit Ventures, Paul was the CEO of Vortechs, an advanced recycling startup, which he ran until a successful exit. Paul was also Managing Director of North America for LiqTech, a publicly traded clean tech water treatment company. Prior to LiqTech, Paul was Senior Vice President of Corporate Development at Steel Partners Holdings, a public holding company, where he led 30 acquisitions and divestitures worth $1.4 billion. Paul served as CFO of both a public and private company, and also worked as a Director of Corporate Development at Danaher Corporation, where he led approximately 50 completed acquisitions and corporate venture capital investments worth $1.7 billion. He started his career working at Coopers & Lybrand, where he performed acquisition due diligence on transactions worth approximately $70 billion.
Paul has an executive MBA degree from Georgetown University and lives in Utah with his wife near the mountains where they can hike, bike and ski in their free time.
