Tim Rettig is a second-generation serial ESOP entrepreneur.
Tim started Intrust IT in 1992 while in college at the University of Cincinnati, selling the company four short years later, but staying on to run the division for the parent company. Eleven years after selling he bought the division back and continued to grow the company, winning numerous awards, including being recognized as a Best Place to Work in Cincinnati for a total of eleven years through 2023, a Best Workplace in Ohio in 2018 through 2023, Best IT Services Company in Cincinnati in 2018, named to Inc. Magazine's Best Workplaces in 2023, and was listed on the Inc. 500|5000 five times. Tim has built a unique company culture that has drastically reduced employee turnover and improved employee engagement.
