Dr Kruger is the CEO and co-founder of Arbor Medical Innovations (AMI). He is also a part-time faculty member at the University of Michigan (UM) in the College of Engineering with a joint appointment in Anesthesiology. After graduating with his doctorate in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Intelligent Manufacturing Systems, Dr Kruger taught Mechatronic Systems at Nelson Mandela University in South Africa before joining UM in 2007. In 2013 he and a neuroscientist co-founded AMI, with the joint goal of reducing the burden of chronic pain.
